About The Hollow Book Store
Hollow Book Store was started by Hilary Armstrong. Hilary was an art major at Kutztown University and became interested in book restoration and book binding of antique books. Her work became known in the local community and she was soon binding and designing book covers for people with a wide range of books precious to them.
One of her customers told her that during the robbery at his house the thieves took his fire proof safe right from the house minutes after they arrived. The detective that was investigating told him that this is the first thing that thieves usually take and they should not be used for anything valuable. The customer asked Hilary if she could convert one of his large books into a safe place for valuables. Through her knowledge of book binding she was able to convert the book into a hollow book. The book blended in with the other books and no one would be the wiser.
Hilary attributes her success to her relentless pursuit of quality and satisfying her customers with whatever it takes. Hilary continues her love of book binding and design and also offers very custom work. Call her with questions or if you need more information.
